Hi mrfibrospondodysthmatic

PIP payment are ignored for UC and HB and is therefore not classed as an income.

Providing your savings are less that £6k (if you under SP age) then it will not affect your claim.

Unless you are already in receipt of HB, you will not as a new claimant be able to apply for HB even with nil income, if you live in a general needs property (private or social sector).
