When your pip is ending,when is the best time to reapply?

Hi sasha2, I'm not a mod, but it would seem from other posts, as soon as you can get all the evidence together for a well-completed application. And be sure to keep copies, and send tracked. And phone when you have the tracking confirmation to ask that they note you have the tracking confirmation. All this because it might help avoid your money stopping because they are so behind processing applications, and seen to be losing some that are known to have arrived, inside their own tower of muddle. And so have accused people who did meet deadlines of missing them.

As Bis said but if tribunal decision then I would phone them, as it will be a new claim.

I was tribunal decision and they forgot to send me a letter, it was only because I was getting concerned (as it was getting nearer to end date) that i called, if i hadn,t then my award would have just stopped on the end date,

Hi Sasha. I would gather all your medical evidence and do a DRAFT application before phoning up. As soon as you have phoned the DWP for a form, a 28-day countdown clock begins.
Also.. the PIP form has altered slightly so your brain needs to process that…
It took me 3 months to do all my research/ gathering etc.
I waited until 28 days before my award ended to phone up. Mine ran out before I received a decision, but the Decision only took 3 weeks….
Still waiting for them to sort out my SDP 3 months later though…
