hello, had telephone assessment, Tuesday 29th June, Tuesday 6th July phoned dwp for copy of hcp report, Thursday 8th July received copy of hcp report, i saw that the hcp made a big issue about me driving, 4 days out of 7 to newsagents which in my case is 4 miles per week, i wrote to decision maker explaining this. On Saturday 17th July I received decision i have been awarded 8pts mobility and 8pts for help i receive, it is standard rate, exactly what i have been receiving since pip started the only difference this time is that i have been given 3 years instead of 2 years. i don't know if decision maker received my letter about driving, but i don't suppose it would make any difference anyway. suffice to say i am happy with the result, and a big thank you for all the help i have received from the benefits and work site.
