Hi, Barbara, can you tell me how many weeks or months was it from when you put in your tribunal appeal that PIP wanted to settle.
Thanks.

Thank you all for your comments. On Friday I found out that the DWP have granted me enhanced for both daily living and mobility, so I don't need to go to a Tribunal. it has been an uphill struggle, but I think all of the advice I have got from Benefits and Work had helped me to formulate my arguments. Keep up the good work and many, many thanks..

Hi CCC, I had my appeal lodged and acknowledged on 28th June and had confirmation of their final offer on 29th July. I thought it would be backdated to the date I submitted my claim, which was 24th December 2020, but they are only paying the new amount backdated to 13th July. I don't know why they plucked that date out of the air!

Hi Barbara, delighted they have caved in but what is this about the date? I would be wanting to know the reason why.
Best, Denby
