I've got an interview with tribunal over telephone on 17/8/21, person from pip called last week to go over my appeal about the Leap review. He said I can't ask for my file to be looked at by them because the final outcome was made by a tribunal and I'd need to apply to the 1st/2nd teir tribunal for any outstanding monies, so he said I could only get them to look back to beginning of 2020,I was denied pip at start of 2019 but after appeal I was awarded standard rates for both care and mobility but because of the leap concern I think I should be at higher rate and should have been awarded 12 points instead of 10 for the going out anywhere but must have someone with them at all times even in a familiar area or place. Sorry I'm confusing myself do you think it's a waste of time or should I continue to fight under the leap review outcome
We can't advise you what to do here. Only you know your case and the finer details of your condition and the impact on your day to day life. Only you know whether you have the stamina and will to keep fighting it at Tribunal for a higher award. The question always to ask yourself is 'have I got anything to lose?'
