Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi John
It's up to you whether you want to ask any questions. Most people ask (if they haven't already been told) when they will hear about the result. Some claimants want to say something that they feel wasn't covered enough during the assessment.

I always ask at the beginning what qualifications they have, i.e. HCP Health Care Practitioner, RGN Registered General Nurse, Physiotherapist etc. It's amazing how many times a Physiotherapist will assess someone with Autism or Mental Health?? You may want to ask them if they require further clarification on anything you have raised during the call, as they will be sending their completed report on your assessment to the relevant DWP Case Manager to make a decision based on their findings and you need their report to be accurate. The DWP rely heavily on the WCA or PIP health assessments as Case Managers have no medical qualifications.
