I have received a pip letter advising that the main health conditions on their system indicate that my health condition will not affect my pip payment. I transferred from dla to pip and lost my higher rate mobility. I had filled In the section about psychological distress as I can’t carry out a journey unaided. At the time the examiner said as I wasn’t on any medication for this that section wouldn’t be relevant. My next review by telephone I was also awarded no points in that section however I did get the higher rate back for moving about. Would it be worth putting in a claim?
It is always worth putting in a claim, as they say if you don't ask you don't get, but a word of warning, we have heard from members on this forum who contacted DWP in regards to LEAP and they were sent a PIP review form.
