Hi, hope everyone is keeping well. I had my PIP telephone assessment today and wondered when I would hear from them next? Is there a typical time frame at the moment? Will next contact be the decision letter? kind regards Paul.
If you want a copy of your assessment report (PA4) - you can ring and ask for it 48 hours after the assessment. This is not sent out unless you request it. Sometimes they send a text saying they have all the information to make a decision -(but not always). Otherwise the next time you can expect to hear from them is when you receive the decision letter. The DWP have been quoting about eight weeks, but we have had members reporting they have been waiting 14 weeks or more.
