Carer work related requirements was created by miranda1020
Hello, my husband had a universal credit commitments interview a few weeks ago after I had made a claim for PIP. The work coach told him to click the button to say he was caring for someone who had claimed pip but not yet received a decision. After he clicked on this the coach said his work related group had now changed automatically on the screen to “no work related requirements” . She said he would have no more interviews . He has now received a notification saying he has to attend a commitments interview. This is from a different work coach. Are they allowed to do this despite him being in the no work requirements group? I haven’t received a PIP decision (or had an assessment yet)

Hi Miss Anxious
It may be a one off interview to confirm that he cannot work because of you, but I can't say for certain. Your husband can send a message querying it and saying what the other coach said.

Thank you for your reply. My husband sent a journal message and received no reply. He then phoned the Jobcentre and explained what the previous work coach had said. They checked on the system, said he shouldn’t have been sent the appointment and cancelled it straight away.
