Can my PIP change if I travel?

Hello,
I get full PIP.
I've seen PIP's notice that I should tell them if I'm going outside the country "for more than 4 weeks". Friends abroad have invited me to go visit for up to 2 months. I don't know what to do. If I say yes, and then inform PIP, is my claim in danger? Ie, will leaving the country for a certain amount of time put my claim in danger? I'd really like to take up the offer of this holiday but I am afraid because I don't know how PIP behave around this issue. They say to inform them, but they don't say what the consequences of that will be. I need a change and a break but I wouldn't go if it was going to put my claim in danger - I worked so hard to get it in the first place. Would really value advice. Thanks,
