Positive PiP result was created by keeptrying
I have received the result of my PiP review ( phone assessment on July 21st)
Standard care and standard mobility for 3 years
I am very relieved, especially to get the mobility award back which i lost in 2018
I would like to say I had a good assessor, who had or does work in mental health, and really listened well. She also took specific note of 'overwhelming psychological distress' and 'Reliably' throughout each of the activities. Indeed it was HER that was drawing those points out of the conversation.
She is the first and only assessor i have ever had that seemed to consider 'reliability' an important aspect to activities.
There were of course a few errors, but nothing worth complaining about.
I would also like to mention that in preparation, i emailed a copy of the GP Letter Notes (found in Pip guides section on this website) to my GP and my MH practitioner. This made a huge difference to their letters of support, and they both said how helpful it was.
The assessor said my MH letter was one of the best clinical letters she has seen, and although that is down to the person concerned - it is to a large extent thanks to the information produced by B&W.
Many thanks to you all

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Walker
Delighted to hear of your award. Glad that you found the guides so useful and good to hear that your GP and MH practitioner found the GP notes useful. Interesting that you had an assessor that mentioned reliability - how we wish they all did. Many congratulations
