Hi
Just a quick question I have been getting ESA for some time the code given is my national insurance number then eesa as a bank reference
Well my payment is a day late and now the code is gbcpsfpacc3 and this seems a little worrying I have sent a pip review off at the end of June but I thought it was too soon to see anything about that ? I haven't received any letters
Has anyone elses payment changed codes?
I have heard the banks are doing some sort of restructuring I hope that's it

Hi Johninpain
We have had post from other forum members about the same issue in the past, they were advised to contact DWP to put their mind at ease, it turned out a different system was used to make their payments.
I would contact DWP and ask them that you noticed a pay code change to put your mind at ease. Come back and let us know as I am sure other forum members will be in the same boat, it also helps us to pass on your information if we get other similar queries.

Hi Johninpain,
Yes I had the same thing when my payment was late , as Gary said it is just a different code because of the late payment, Mine reverted back to normal the next payment.

I have had this before; it is a manual entry. Look next time to see if your ESA payment has changed (if your PIP has ended and so has your SDP for example). If there has been any (amount) change you don’t understand I would phone up.

They have been putting seemingly random numbers at the end of the identifier for a while now.
