Compliance telephone appointment

I had a telephone compliance chat, he was a very firm sounding person - I was asked if I was pregnant that was after I told him my date of birth ( I am in my 60+).
Anyway we got over that hurdle.
Then he seemed very interested in my income , savings and assets. I repeatedly had to interrupt him to state I do not have any income related benefits so what was the point of asking my income or savings etc. Or how many bank accounts I had etc.
I do wish that the compliance officer had done his homework and checked on my benefits.
It is very frustrating the conclusion of the telephone conversation was that he would at this time take no action.

Are you sure it was the DWP calling? It sounds like a phishing call!
