My wife and me have just received our pip review from to fill in but our awards don't end for another 11 months? I phoned pip today to get some answers only to be told they send them up to 6 mths in advance cos of back log
I asked why are ours 11 mths early and she had no answer for it, just told me to send it in. Only thing I can think of is its a pre planned dirty trick to probably fail us and get out of paying us both our awards for 11 mths. Can somebody pls give me some urgent needed advice
Thanks for reading this

Hello Allen,

Unfortunately, unless your current award was given by a tribunal, they are entitled to review it at any time. I have not heard of forms being sent out that early, but I would advise you to return them by the date given. If you do not, and they are then slow in reassessing you so that you do not get your new award until after the current one expires you could lose money.

Allen, hope this clears a few reasons why.

Also to note PIP awards with an end date of say the 25th December 2021, claimants was at one point receiving a review a year before that date meaning 25th December 2020.

Then over the last year or so the DWP was sending out review forms at 6 months instead of a year before.

I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.

when you get a pip 'result', the letter gives the award end date and then (if it is longer than 2 years i think) it says 'we will review it in (and they give the date a year BEFORE it ends)
This is how they always do it so far as I know, and THEIR reasoning is it can take a long time to reassess but of course for eg. in my past, it has meant losing several months of the previous award.
However if your PiP goes up, then it means it goes up sooner!
