Morning. I too was fooled by the DWPs insinuation that they would gather evidence. THEY DO NOT. I appreciate this is a very difficult time for you, but I would start ‘evidence gathering’ and put this paperwork in with your MR request. [Maybe stating that you thought they would do so as stated in their letter]. Hospital letters/ medications/ GP notes/ ASC documentation/ anything really that backs up what you are saying in your application.
I have experienced the worst side of this. You need to fight all the way; it’s truly horrendous. Good Luck xx
