Dear Phrank, you are welcome. I know what you mean about not being the same since, our daughter's first claim was in 2014 and bits of it still rerun in my head like a colour film. And I think for her it is like a ghost, or having had cancer and a checkup being due, what will happen???-the anxiety level rises no matter how one tries to control or rationalise it, because their actions do not conform consistently to any standard of rationality. [ie for some it goes OK but you just never know].
Kind regards,
Denby

Hi Denby,

Yes, the DWP and the assessment providers really know how to put people through the mill.

I remember whilst waiting in the waiting room for my last face-to-face assessment reading a poster, several of which were emblazoned accross the walls.

They showed a happy photo of a kind ATOS 'HCP' and the words read: 'Remember, we are here to help you, not to catch you out'.

I don't know how they get away with it.

There are three things that stick out as the lowest points in my life. My father dying unexpectedly, my mother dying at the age of 52 - AND, my last PIP assessment which took me to the brink after reading what the 'kind' nurse wrote about me.

It's time something was done, it really is.

Regards,

Phrank
