Thanks Gary… am currently trying to work out if I will get HB/ CTax at pension age (15 years away!) as I will get a small amount of pension every week. Totally forgot about the HB premiums stuff.

Hi Angel,

You might a benefits calculator useful for that exercise - but do remember that in 15 years time all the rules might have changed. 15 years ago nobody had heard of PIP or UC!

Nearly everybody likes knowing things Angel. It is also particularly true for anyone with Autism or Asperger's. It is only reasonable. And this is why I believe the way the system is set up and, worse, operated due to insufficient funding for decent admin for the size of the workload, is damaging many if not most claimants' mental health/wellbeing. The DWP is just adding to the NHS costs, as well as needless sheer misery for human beings.
