The advisor may ask for more details which you can provide. I suspect you may be asked when your health got worse.It is then likely that a new claim form or renewal form will be sent for you to fill in. You might also need to have a further assessment. The need will be on the top of your previous decision letter.
Alternatively you could send a letter.
You will need your NI Number and if you phone, you may need to answer security questions.
A friend can make the call with you but DWP will probably need you to answer the security questions.
