Another PIP Review Question was created by Capyboppy
I am currently trying to do my review form, and wondered how much of the previous info I should put down? I've read. the 'helps' as a paying member, but am a bit unclear with 'brain fog.' and fatigue. The repeated question as follows is the one I"m having a problem with,
"Tell us how you manage this activity now, including the use of any aids that you need."
Should I put all the stuff I have put before which could possibly be a drawback if the assessor/decision maker doesn't want to trawl through a load of stuff? Or is it sufficient to say, something along the lines of, "Nothing has changed; as before, I still struggle with....," which could mean other things I have put before could appear to no longer be an issue as I haven't included them?
This is so draining

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Capyboppy
We can't tell you exactly what to write - because we know nothing about people. Some people chose to put everything that they have stated before and others put a short two-sentence summary of where they are now. Both can work. It's hard, but do what feels right for you. You can say that your condition remains unchanged and you still struggle with x,y,z because of x,y,z (and then refer them back to your previous form).
I know it's hard and it's scary, but try not to overthink it. Whatever you send in, the chances are you will wish you had written something else. No one produces the 'perfect' form.

Personally I always 'throw the book' at them. Then at least if necessary I can say when I get the PA4 that they have ignored this or that. You can't do that if you didn't put it in. But it's your choice.
Best wishes,
Denby

Just answer the question - and if you need aids, say so and why.. As someone has mentioned don’t over think it.

Thank you BIS.
At the moment as I have been trying to do it bit by bit and feel totally demoralised going through it all again (even if it is shorter); I have done something similar. to as you have said. For example: 'This is unchanged, (or the same) as I still have the. same difficulties with (name of whatever here). It is making it so long-winded though. I guess I am concerned should they refer back to my original form they may think I am just copying. I suppose that's understandable when the same issues are there if anything deteriorated. So I have tried to condense it to some degree, as I am sure. with t he backlog they are not wanting to spend hours on each form are they? Something in the middle that is more than just putting "No change" for everything, and that gives a few examples.
Like you say, we can only do our best and hope the person reading it is having a good day and 'gets' what we are trying to convey.
Thank you for your reply.
