PIP renewal timeframe was created by Magsikins
Can anyone tell me if the DWP always send a text acknowledgement of their receipt of your PIP Renewal Forms. I sent mine next day signed for delivery and have the Royal Mail tracking receipt so i know it was signed for at 5.30am by someone called Ruby but the signature was signed 'Covid' ,obviously someone with a weird sense of humour!? Just wondered if you get an official text . Regards Meg

Hi Magsikins

I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.

In answer to your question, it varies some members tell us they have received a text message others have not received anything.

If you have received no text message then I would advise you to contact DWP to check they have received your post due to the 'Covid' signature.

I had exactly the same signature (covid) on my special delivery form at my review. I think it might be because the post man signs for it as it is delivered to minimise contact. They ask the name of who receives it and write that in (Ruby). and then covid as an explanation of no actual signature . Hope it helps . Best wishes
