PIP was created by Lorraine
Morning I have been awarded enhanced care and low mobility 10 points for moving around 0 for planning and following journeys. I now have a report from the neurologist confirming that I won’t go out because of significant anxiety he states he is referring me to psychology to see if it can help. I’m thinking it may give me 4 points , what are your thoughts. I was just going to ask them if this new evidence Would make any difference to my award

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Lorraine
It's impossible for us to say because we don't know you or your history. You can put in for an MR and see what they say. Emphasise that you are only asking them to look at the mobility award.
A potential issue if they look at this stage is that they don't take it seriously because the neurologist has confirmed what you have told him (ie about not going out) and they will want confirmation from a psychologist about your anxiety and the impact. (You might already have given them evidence of your anxiety).
Only you can decide what you want to do.

Thank you. I’ve a feeling that they Would ask for evidence from more evidence than I have provided from neurosurgeon which I don’t have yet as I’m still to get appointment.

Hi Lorraine, in the circumstances one tactic could be, put in for your MR before the month is up so you don't have to argue for them to accept a late one. But in it say you intend to submit further evidence and would like it not to be considered until you have done so. Then send in the new stuff when you do have it. I don't know if they will agree [and I'm not a Mod] but it could be worth a try.
Best wishes,
Denby
