PIP - Mental health Planning and following journey was created by Lala
I got a letter a few wks ago saying they had looked at my claim again due to changes in the law. They said their were no changes that affected me but I know planning a following a journey has changed and think I should qualify, I have always thought this because I need someone with me to go to places, usually my friend, but they always just give me 4 points. I want to ask again. How do I do this and what should I say. Also they changed my claim to ongoing instead of 2 or 3 yrs. I think they did this to stop me as kind again. I am scared to do anything because if I don't have pip I will never leave house again. Please can anyone help.

Hi Lala
I have moved your post, because you attached it to a very old one and it's easier if people don't write a question on another members post.
You can put in for a mandatory reconsideration on their decision and say why you think they are wrong. I can't tell you what to write, because you know your medical condition and the difficulties that you experience.
Have a look at the video that you can find on this page www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip . This should help.
Most people are pleased to receive an ongoing award and they aren't given as often now. It means you shouldn't be reviewed for another ten years.
