How long will it take to hear back about PIP2 form was created by Mystery1997
I sent the form by recorded delivery and they received it on the 27th of August. I was just wondering how long it will take to hear back, as they're currently dealing with a lot of backlog at the moment right?

Hi Mystery1997
It's almost impossible to give you an accurate time frame because it varies so much, but if you haven't heard anything within 4-6 weeks, I would ring and ask.

UPDATE
I contacted the DWP today as it would mark 4 weeks exactly that I had confirmation that they received my form. I was told it had only actually been processed on the 7th of September, still within the deadline thankfully, and that they're still working on it. I wanted to ask how long I can expect to wait but couldn't get myself to say the words due to my social anxiety and difficulty with speaking to others.
The wait continues.

Well done Mystery1997 for getting up the courage and contacting DWP.
We know from the forum that many members are unable to contact the DWP, so you have passed the first hurdle and put your mind at ease that DWP have confirmed that they have received your form.
Now it is a waiting game for the next stage.
Good luck
Gary
