Hi please can you advise - The DWP have been in receipt of my new application for 6 weeks and I have still not had a date for my assessment. In total it has been 11 weeks since my initial request for the application form. Should I be concerned?

Hi Deborah,
To answer your question, there are serious delays at DWP at present. Other forum users have commented on the delays. So, I don't think there us a problem, but I also suggest contacting DWP, and asking as even if there are delays it will remind them that your paperwork is still needing to be dealt with!
I hope this helps.

As above there are all sorts of delays right now. Personally I applied in March and didn't have my assesment untilt he 8th of September. things seem to eb slowly starting to get back on track in many places but there are still huge delays in other places.
As already said if you are worried might be worth phoning to ask, but the chances are your paperwork is just sat in a queue somewhere
