new claim was created by dylis.dear@hotmail.co.uk
Hi everyone just had my brown envelope requesting me to complete a new claim & return it by 13th October2021. Due to coronavirus I had extention on my current award to 14th August 2022 but it appears to have been withdrawn. Just curious has anyone else had the same experience, I'm lucky as my wife stores all the paperwork.

Hi Jim D
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
From your post I am not sure which benefit you are talking about, ESA, UC or PIP?
We have received various posts from members who have been given an extension during Covid only to be sent a review form a few weeks later.
We do have some very good member only guides to help you complete a new claim.

Hi Gary thank you for responding, I was referring to my pip's & not sure if I should still compile & send the form by 13TH as they have said my pip's will cease yet my award says 14th August 2022.

Hi Jim D
Send your form by the 13th, if you need more time then contact DWP and ask, if you do not send in your form by 13th or contact DWP for an extension then your claim will cease.
Don't forget to read our latest PIP guide: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip#claims

And Jim please please pay out for tracked post and have your wife keep the tracking delivery confirmation safe with the paperwork. This after reading the recent news item on here, people sending in their forms on time, but without proof, being disallowed unjustly.
Kind regards,
Denby
