PIP Review Form was created by Roy
I can't find anything in the forum about this. My PIP review form arrived yesterday 05/10/2021. No surprise as I turned 65 this year. BUT I've got to return it by the 27/010/2021. Three weeks to get everything together. Reports from GP, Community Cardiac Nurse and Consultant Cardiologist. What!

Hello Roy,

I have noticed in the last month or so that review forms seem to be arriving about 5 days after the date on the letter, which means that you effectively only have about 2 weeks to fill it in, given that you also have to allow time to send it back.

I would strongly urge you to ring them up and explain that it is not possible for you to complete it by 27th Oct and request an additional month. I have never known them not to agree to this.

It is important that you get something back to them either by 27th Oct or the later date they have extended it to. If you have not been able to collect the reports by then don't worry - just put a note on the 'anything else you want to tell use section' saying that you have requested reports from ..... and you will be forwarding them as additional evidence as soon as you have received them.

I hope this helps,
Catherine

I received the dreaded forms yesterday 8th Oct. They have to be back by 23rd Oct. I haven’t seen a GP since March 2020. Our GP’s are doing phone calls from home (if you can get one & you're only allowed to ask about one topic. How can I get up to date evidence when they WILL NOT see any patients in person, unless you say you have a breast lump or something obviously indicating cancer. My patient summary just looks like a repeat prescription list. Very frustrating and very worrying.
Good luck with your reassessment. I’m dreading the outcome of mine.
