I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. I have had 2 recent pip claims. 1st was from Oct 16 till Oct 18, then from Oct 18 till Oct 22. My original claim was examined for the Leap review which was not successful. I have since asked for a mandatory reconsideration which is still being processed just now.
Strange thing is though, today in the mail I received a PIP review pack saying that we awarded you PIP on Oct 16 and we need to look at your claim again. Do you think this is to do with my current claim or is this part of the mandatory reconsideration?
I'm going out of my mind with worry here. I won't be able to find out until Monday but I wanted to ask if this has happened to anyone else. What's throwing me is the October 16 date they have supplied.
Hi Gillian, I cant really say, but the coincidence of the dates suggests it is likely to be a review of the whole claim. I think the only way is to brave the phone queue and ask DWP. Sorry I can't be more help. LL26
