lost PIP application

lost PIP application was created by Carolyn26
They reckon they havnt received my PIP application, even though they SIGNED for it on delivery! I have all the post office supporting paperwork. What can I do?

I'm sorry this has happened to you. Did you keep a copy of your application? If you did, you could send another copy. You can keep pressing the DWP that they signed for the form, so you would need time to send the information again. I'm afraid if they insist they haven't got it, there is very little you can do - because they can't proceed without the paperwork. You can put in an official complaint, but the most important thing at the moment is getting your application processed.

I am so sorry this has happened to you. Mine went in last week and was signed for by 'Covid'. Reading about your situation made me feel sick to my tummy.

H the DWP doesn't process the mail itself, it is handeld by an outside firm (Post Office). However, in the forum post, I am going to make - there is a big problem with the DWP mail at the moment and they are several weeks behind in processing
