universal credit and pension was created by subby
my wife is younger than me and will not get pension for 5 years at the moment she gets full pip, contributions esa support group with uc topup , i get carers allowance what i am not sure of is what happens in 6 months when i get my state pension ?. it looks like it will stop uc and not get pension credit for 5 years so what happens about esa?.

Hi subby

When you reach State Pension age, your Carers Allowance will stop, your wife would still be eligible to claim CB ESA.

I would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation who can take all your circumstances into consideration; You can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
