the wait between telephone assessment & decision

Hi prefer not to say, if you are spoiling for a fight after what they have done to you, you could try making a formal complaint about the fact that the assessment was "not fit for purpose". If you were to succeed maybe, I don't know, you might in fact get another one [which you could of course the record!!!]. Not being a Mod I can't remember the exact procedure for putting in this complaint but think it will be somewhere on the site.

I was thinking the same about sending photos as evidence when I sent in my PIP2 form. I've just had my phone assessment and will have to wait for the result. If I don't agree with it and go to MR , I would include photos . We have nothing to lose by including them but it could help us.

OK, so my mandatory reconsideration has given me the brush off with 0 points. Nothing to say why! Seems my 13 pages of evidence was brushed off. I guess an appeal next....

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment. More claimants win at appeal than MR, but obviously, there is a lot of extra stress. Have a look at the guide to PIP appeal if you need help.
