Hi magsrob

If you are awarded LCWRA you could be notified by your Journal but usually it is by post.

Check the breakdown of your award , it will tell you what elements you have been awarded and what deductions they are taking

UC is a means tested benefit, therefore your partners income is taken into consideration when working out your entitlement, so check you are getting all your entitlements.

Hi magsrob

From your post it seems that your ESA stopped before you applied for UC, therefore you are in the assessment phase, your work coach should send you a WCA (UC50) form to complete, check out our guides if you need help. help-for-claimants/esa1

You may need to contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation for help you maximise your income after taking all your circumstances into consideration. One of the first questions they will ask you is when do you reach state pension age. You can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
