PIP award ending was created by Oali
My PIP award was due to end last year but was extended till the end of June 22. I was sent a review form last August which I completed and sent back, however I haven't heard anything back from the DWP.
My circumstances have changed and my condition has worsened, I believe I should now get the enhanced rate for daily living(already get enhanced for mobility).
Need some advice on what I should do, should I contact them or should I wait? If they don't increase my benefit then should I appeal and ask for an MR? I've been through the whole appeals process but that was for applying for PIP and not a review of an existing award so am a little confused. Any advice will be welcomed and appreciated.

Hi Oali
If your award is due to end this month you need to ring them up now and ask what is happening. You don't want to find out that you are going to be without any money. You certainly should not wait. This is a priority.
You need to find out whether you are going to have an assessment, or they are making a paper-based decision or whether they have made a decision and you haven't received a letter. If you are still waiting for an assessment then you need to confirm whether your money is going to stop or you are being given an extension.
Whether you will need to put in for an MR I cannot say, because at the moment you don't know the status of your claim.

Thank you for your response. I managed to ring the DWP and they told me that a decision still hasn't been made and that my award has been extended till September. They said they sent me a letter however I haven't recieved anything, I asked them to send me the letter again and they're sending me an award confirmation letter. So I guess it'll be a longer wait then. Thank you for your advice and help though.
