My partner had a PIP assesment yesterday on the phone. Someone had called him the day before to ask if he was still ok for the call the next day. He said a woman would be phoning him at the time specified on the letter. He said that when she phoned it would appear on his phone as 'private number' .
However when she called yesterday the number that appeared on his phone was a mobile number. Is this the norm? I found it a bit odd, because I would have thought that they would want to keep that kind of thing private, to avoid anyone calling back.
I know myself if I had that job I would no way want to risk anyone contacting me in the future.
Hope someone can enlighten me on this.
