Hi, I posted a couple of days ago regarding our missing carers allowance. We got a letter this morning from them but it wasn’t what we expected. Like many I’m waiting for a decision on my PIP, I got a text in July saying a decision hadn’t yet been made but I would receive PIP until one was reached. 19/9/22 is my actual date. This morning carers have sent a letter informing me my PIP was about to cease as would carers allowance stating the date of the 19th.
We are still waiting for missing carers payments from June to present day.
I’ve emailed my MP but won’t hold my breath. I’m actually terrified now. Has anyone else received one of these letters? Many Thanks in advance.

I am so sorry. I know you have been trying to get through to the DWP. If your PIP is stopping, are you going to put in for an MR and appeal the decision? A decision must have been made and I would try and chase up where the decision letter is.
