Renewal response times

Renewal response times was created by Rossi1999
I completed and returned my renewal form 7 weeks ago. I have a number of new medical problems which I detailed. I know each one is different, but the longer it goes without a response, is that usually a sign that another f2f will not be required? I'm just hoping this is the case as it will be my fourth f2f in 10 years and I am now 63. My conditions mean that my health will only deteriorate.
I suppose what I am asking is, does the AR1 form get looked at or do they go straight through to the appointment process? Many thanks.

Hi Rossi222

Don't read anything into the fact you haven't heard after 7 weeks. We have quite a few members who have had a telephone assessment after waiting 12 months or more from having sent in their review forms. They have a backlog of cases, plus there will be regional differences so you may wait 8 weeks or anything up to 18 months! Sorry, can't give you a clearer picture.
