Hi,
Still waiting for the face to face appointment appointment letter....but come July I reach state pension age and if still no letter by then is my initial claim for pip that I started August last year cancelled and no prospect of receiving pip due to not having had the appointment by July?

Hope this makes sense.

Hi Dalglish60

They should still continue with your PIP claim because it was started well before you reached the State Pension age. They may say, though, that they can't award you the mobility award as this cannot be awarded for the first time after someone has reached State Pension age.
