Hi

I've just got my unexpected review form. 2 weeks backdated with 2 weeks to complete it with evidence which is impossible. Is there anything I can do to ask for more time?

Hi b7s7dh

Ring the DWP and ask for an extension. They will give you a two-week extension. If you find that you need more time, contact them in plenty of time to get a further extension. (They don't have to offer you the second one, but it has become more common for them to give one - just don't leave it to the last minute to ask if needed).

I phoned at 5 weeks and said the letter was delayed in the post - I think it took nearly 3 weeks from the date on it, due to postal delays. They said OK like it was routine, but wanted to know on the same phone call what I was challenging - a bit of a shock!

Just tried to call them 4 times. Call went dead, went through security then dead, then said I was being put through, then went dead again.....
