Hi mrs doyle

Short answer ...... yes

If you are not receiving it, then ask for an "anytime review" not a backdate as you should have received it from when you received GPC.

Hi mrs doyle

SDP should be awarded from when the daily living component of PIP was awarded.

This doesn't seem to be taken into account in any of the benefit calculators so alot of people must be missing out.

Hi mrs doyle

You are correct, benefit calculators are good at informing you what benefits you may be able to claim depending on your circumstances at that moment in time, this is why we always advise claimants to speak to their local Welfare Rights Organisation who will be able to take all their circumstances into consideration.
