How long are PIP renewal reviews taking?

I sent off my PIP renewal application mid-January but still haven’t heard from DWP, and they’re unable to give me even a guesstimate as to when it might be dealt with. Just wondering how long it has taken for other people to either be sent an interview date or receive their updated award letter. Any replies appreciated!

I'm afraid we are still seeing widely varying timescales, from a couple of months right up to 18 months and in a few cases longer.

Hi, I'm in the same boat.
My current PIP Award end date is: 12th July 23.
I sent my review form (Recorded. Special delivery) on the 6th Jan 23.

All I've heard from the DWP is 2 texts:
1st text - 9th Jan 23 - confirming receipt of the form.
2nd text- Wednesday 5th April 23 - states:

"We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can. You may still need an assessment with a health professional. Your PIP will continue to be paid until we review your claim. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change."

Fingers crossed it gets sorted for everyone soon.
