Still Waiting For Copy Of Assessment.

Hi there, I phoned DWP requesting a copy of my over the phone assessment on the 21st of May and nothings still turned up. All I've had is a text from PIP saying it could take up to six weeks for the decision to be made.

Is this normal?

I was told it takes 10 working days to get the copy. I'm allowing for them being behind but it's a month now since I requested the copy of the assessment.

Are others waiting this long?

Hi, I tried asking this last night but the sight was down.

Who do you recommend I call to request a copy of my assessment? I ask because I've received a text from the DWP saying "About your pip review. The health professional has sent us their report. We will make a decision on your pip, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us.

You will continue to get pip while your award is being reviewed. you only need to contact us if your circumstances change."

Should I (because it's been a month without receiving the report) try push to get the copy emailed to me because if it takes at least another 10 days it's going to be too late isn't it?

Is there anything you recommend I do or say on the phone?

This is typical. I've literally just received a text from DWP saying, "Your pip review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks.

Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call us before you get this letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision.

Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change."

Just thought I'd let you know I phoned DWP first thing and the lady who answered told me the results of my assessment.

It went much better than I thought it went and I've actually got mobility back.

I honestly thought I'd be going to tribunal the phone assessment felt like it went so bad.
