You can try and ask for a MR due to the length of the award but you need to explain why you think you should be awarded should be longer. I can only think of one post that was successful in getting the length of the award extended.
DWP may have awarded you 4 years as your condition may deteriorate and therefore may at sometime in the future be eligible to the enhanced component.
