Hi,
I got transferred from PIP to ADP as I live in Scotland and now my claim is in for review. So as one of life's pessimists, I am already preparing my reconsideration (or redetermination as Social Security Scotland call it) just in case , and was wondering - can I just list on additional sheets the relevant descriptors with details of why I believe they apply in each case?
I figure if I can and I do it now for all the descriptors, by the time I hear from them it'll be pretty much done. This will be my first review so not sure if this approach would work so any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi abderdeenangus
I wouldn't take that approach, but I think you should do what feels right for you and if you want to be partially prepared, then go ahead. You know that you might not ever use that information, but it's not time wasted if it makes you feel better.
One thing that you will need if you have to go through a redetermination is a copy of the assessment report and whatever's written in that report could have quite an impact on your response and you may find yourself re-writing some of it.

I too am in a similar situation. Im hoping that this goes through smoothly but past experience has taught me to be prepared for anything. I will let you know the outcome when I hear back.

Thanks Biz,
I didn't think about an assessment report. I'll hold fire, seems ADP gives you 6 weeks to return form anyway so should be ample time.....should I need it.
Thanks again
