Good morning
I am just off the phone from pip and got through at last … only took 10 calls .. But on a GOOD NOTE yes you heard right …
I spoke to a absolutely lovely older lady ( bet she will love me for that ) She explained to me regarding the delay of the build up off Reviews backlog at the moment , which we are aware but I let her talk …
My main concern and worry is I have a mobility car and the pressure Is on as my date is coming to a finish off the contract plus my disability badge has expired ,
I can’t renew because of not having up to date proof off pip paperwork .
I am still being paid ..phew thank goodness
So she’s told me something , I was not aware of .
I didn’t know my paperwork award official date they have in the system, does not run out till December.. she’s sending a copy out as mine says April 2023 . I have then proof for my Blue Badge as it expired the same date off my pip paperwork April 2023 ( they may say get lost as it’s only 6 months ) but hey nothings is ever simple …
One bit off news I was unaware off is “If by 35 days before date off pip expires official date ) mines is December , they’re extending it automatically for another year .
Again I am not clear where exactly that leaves me with the mobility car I gave feed back how lovely she was as credit where credits due … so not everyone is a cow pat jobs worth …
I had called car mobility last week , I was worried about what I can do with the mobility car contract …as like most off us are all waiting with baited breath.. he was another lovely chap who said if I call up next month they can extend it by another 2 months with my mobility car contract . So what that says to me … I could be wrong but …. My pip is way down the line to be assessed… but I am still being paid and if still not properly assessed it will be reassessed in another year … Hopefully they would have gotten there act together… ( sorry meant off said I should be a comic ) but still on very rocky ground not knowing if it’s a great big sigh off relief or a OMG what the hell will I do now … Sanrio not great for ones already frazzled nervous system.
I am just off phone was on hold 23 mins so if you are trying to get hold off them then I would get on that phone … the automated system is the pits I kept doing my date off birth bank details and it was always wring so it went to the waiting hold section automatically… that’s when on hold 23 mins and it was ANSWERED HALILOOOOOYYYYAAAAAA I AM DYSLEXIC SORRY ABOUT GRAMMAR
