PIP payments during review (when likely PIP will stop after review) was created by ClaireLO
Hi
I know this may be a slightly uncommon one however, I wrote to PIP earlier this month (after giving up with the horrendous so called helpline) to inform them of a change of circumstances and to ask for a review form. I did this as I feel my condition (MH) has improved to a level where for the sake of full honesty I need to do a review, and know the onus is always on us to report change. I have self scored and feel that my award may end once reviewed (I am currently in receipt of standard rate daily living only) however, knowing the current amount of time reviews are taking, if I continue to receive my payments whilst the review is taking place, and, as I predict, the award ends, should I keep the payments aside in case I am asked to repay them..? I know one view may be that the length of time a review takes and resultant ongoing payments would be down to them but in my experience the DWP don't really operate like that- in other words, even if it's them that take ages to do the review they may still ask for the money to be repaid...? TIA

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi ClaireLO
Your claim will stop when the decision maker makes a decision not to award you any further PIP.

Thanks Gary- I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to keep aside any intermediate payments
