HCP summary justification : Identical & Repetitive was created by RHAN
Hi B&W.
I have a simple question Regarding the PA3 v2 report by the HCP.
In their Summary Justification, in absolutely every activity, their reply is 95% identical and repetitive, and in a parrot fashion way, then remainder has minor adjustments to the same phrases just to suit each activity, as if its was just copied and pasted in every activity and finished with the conclusion of their opinion basically saying “therefore likely that they are able”.
Is this normal for the report to be so identical & repetitive in all activities, or should there be more to it?
Thanks in advance.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I can't say that it is unusual to see this.
Have you checked the Descriptors recommended and whether they would lead to an acceptable award?

Hi gordon
The PA3 v2 is all “A”, so all zeros, and The DM letter all zeros.
The DM just sided with the HCP.
DM just listed all actives in order, like a parrot, then said “I decided”, then copied and pasted the same wording that the HCP used, and that was it, no real worth in it.
HCP left out basically every hard evidence along with the conditions., so hardly anything included in the “evidence used in formulating advice” section and used an old prescription to justify it and even decided to lower the dose of it.
Everything sent in Special Delivery so I know they had it all, I just cant believe it.
I just wanted to know if its common for HCP just to answer each activity the same as if its copies and pasted.

Our daughter had a PA4 just like that a few years ago. Not to mention the outright lies that our recording disproved, eg 'coped well with the assessment did not appear distressed' when you could hear her sobbing repeatedly and sniffling a lot.

Hi RobinGoch
Yes, it is common for them to cut and paste and repetitively use the same argument. The Decision Maker is not medically trained, so they rarely go against the Health Professional's judgement. It's also quite common for them not to list the evidence that has been submitted. It's hard then to know whether they looked at it and ignored it, or they never read it at all.
