Hi, I have got back my assessors report, no decision has been made yet. I just want to see what you think to this for the descriptor socialising. When asked about socialising - I said I needed support as i can’t leave the house without anyone. I also find socialising difficult as i have to be able to sit down, i also get distracted by the pain I’m in and a bit irritable unfortunately. Thee assessor said I was ok, as I spoke to them ok, also I can with my partner and my daughter and the people who deliver the shopping. To me thats not socialising, that’s just dealing with life. I’m going to highlight this, but those points could make a lot of difference.
You are correct that the engagement needs to be in a social situation and the examples used do not meet this requirement, however, I think you would have struggled to score with the issues you have included in your post as they do not address the legally defined Descriptors that you are being assessed against.
