Adult Disability Payment (Scotland) was created by Brian1888
My PiP is being transferred to ADP..Will be finalised early October as per letter received.
I also receive ESA and H/B.
Am I right in saying that I will need to contact ESA and H/B and inform them that I'm being transferred to ADP ?
As this could be classed as a change of circumstances could this bring about a review by ESA or being migrated to UC ?

Hi Brian1888
I cannot see why you would have to inform ESA and HB.
It is not a change of circumstances and therefore will bring about a review for ESA or migrate you over to UC.
Your ESA could change but that would depend on a number of factors, we would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk who will take all your circumstances into consideration.

Hi Gary
Thanks for reply and info.
Sorry for sounding confused but in your reply you said it's not a change of circumstances and would lead to a review of ESA?
Also I'm sure I read somewhere that I had to inform ESA and H/B that I was being moved over to ADP ?
Thanks Again

Hi Brian1888
I'm with Gary; I don't see why you have to inform ESA or HB. Being transferred from PIP to ADP should not have any impact on any other benefits and would not trigger a reassessment of any kind. I can't find what you may have read on the UK government website or the Scottish Government website on ADP - but if you're concerned, ring the DWP and ask the question - because we can't give you a definitive answer.
