ENHANCED MOBILITY? was created by Inspector
Can anybody offer any advice on appealing for 'Enhanced Mobility' from the lower rate?

Have not contacted DWP yet but it would be useful to know what to expect when I telephone to ask to start the process.

Will it be a full review?

Forgive me, I'm a bit confused, when you last posted in April you said you were receiving the Enhanced rate so have you been re-assessed and lost this or are you asking for someone else?

When you say "appeal" have you/they requested a Mandatory Reconsideration?

You are correct, I was asking for a member of family. I should have made that clearer.

Should have said " They" and "We" I withdraw the question.

It's not a problem you asking for another person, I just wanted to qualify who it was so that we gave the correct information.

Hi,

I to am in the position. I received enhanced daily living & standard mobility from my Adult Disability Payment application. I scored 8 points on the moving around question but feel I should have scored more. The reasoning they gave is because I am able to drive myself to work on occasion & walk into the building. All be it, I have provided numerous examples of how my mobility is severely limited & I am now at the point where I am going to likely have to give up driving & work from home only.

If you have any pointers/ advice it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
