Would appreciate some help. I have my review later this week. I didn’t inform the DWP that my seizures had stopped, until I returned the light touch review form. Even though my seizures have stopped, my ability to manage the activities hasn’t changed. In fact things have got worse. Assessors report only mentions ‘absent seizures’ when cooking/preparing food, and not my other conditions that impact on managing the activities. I still am ‘absent’ on a daily basis due to my other conditions, Bipolar, ADHD, Autism. (I was diagnosed with Cognitive decline during the award period and didn’t inform them for the same reasons.) Apologies if this doesn’t make much sense. How can I prepare for the telephone assessment? Thank you. I really appreciate it.
Do you actually mean the AR2 Light Touch form or have you received an AR1 Review form, one is only a couple of pages and the other is a lot longer.
Our PIP Claim guide has a list of the questions you are likely to be asked, it also has a section on telephone assessments.
If your limitations have not changed as your post suggests but the reason that you have them has then you really should have informed the DWP. You didn't so you will just have to see what happens during the questioning on the call, be very clear as to why you still meet the criteria. Perhaps write a short bullet list of points to get across.
