Hi my partner had a lcw phone meeting today with the dwp they told him they don’t need to call again as they had it on their system that he had a job which is not true he’s on pip and I am classed as his carer he doesn’t leave the house unless with me i help him with pills and attend all his appointments but I wasn’t able to be there for the meeting as I had a appointment myself but he said that he told them he didn’t have a job and he was on pip he said well I don’t no we don’t deal with pip and he checked the system and we don’t need to call u anymore coz of job can anyone help as it’s stressing me out that they take both pip and uc of us because they Saying he’s got a Job and uc isn’t open til Monday thanks

I would contact the DWP to see what information they hold about you, you can ask for a subject access request or as the DWP say 'right of access', you can do this online or write to them; www.gov.uk/guidance/request-your-persona...or-work-and-pensions
If you do not get much joy from contacting DWP then contact your MP, they be able to help you or your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk

Just seems dodgy to me and my partner said he was only on the phone 5 mins he made them aware but didn’t seem to be bothered just said it’s here we don’t have to contact you that’s fine no more phone calls I just don’t understand it and it’s stressful waiting til Monday
